Jag Nation, it’s game day the West Florida Jaguars prepare to take on the Walton High School Braves tonight at 7:00 PM! Gates open at 5:00 PM, so get there early, grab your seat, and be ready to bring the noise as our Jaguars look to light up the field.
“I am looking forward to our second home game of the season this Friday night. This game will give us an opportunity to get another win. Our guys are really excited for this game in front of the home crowd,” said Coach Summerford. “Walton will be a good opponent for us as they have a balanced offense and a defense similar to ours. We’ve worked hard this week to fix the mistakes from Fort Walton and carry those fixes into this game.”
The Jaguars come into tonight’s game with both offense and defense locked in and ready to perform. After last week’s big win, the offense has been fine-tuning its explosive playmaking ability, while the defense continues to build on its tough, disciplined approach. Together, this balanced attack is focused on carrying that momentum forward and bringing home another victory in front of the home crowd.
“I am excited about how our Jag D-Line played last Friday at Fort Walton Beach. With a total defensive effort, our guys were unselfish, did their jobs, and delivered," says Coach Myrick
Tonight, under the lights at West Florida High School (150 E. Burgess Road, Pensacola, FL 32503), the Jaguars will show what it means to play Jaguar football.
